Aux kilomètres peu abondants, au nord de Moura le barrage d'Alqueva, de forme dès 2002 le plus grand artificiel lac de l'Europe, en portant l'eau abondante aux grands territoires dont auparavant ils ne profitaient pas de cet élément. En revanche les terres submergées, c'est le tribut payé au progrès, en restant dans ses profondeurs des restes précieux son passé primitif. Les eaux de la Guadiana, la frontière naturelle du territoire se sont approchées des localités importantes des deux côtés de la frontière. Ces caractéristiques marquent de nouvelles initiatives de caractère patronal et économique, orientées au tourisme d'oisiveté et du temps libre, aux activités nautiques, de senderismo et des routes à cheval. To little kilometers, to the north of Moura the prey of Alqueva, forms from the 2002 greater artificial lake of Europe, taking the abundant water to great territories that previously did not enjoy this element.
