The orography of Valencia de Alcantara is common to the lands that spread on both sides of the border. Rich zone of Mediterranean forest, provided with rich vegetation and abundant fauna. Estas construcciones se encuentran diseminadas por los alrededores de la población, existiendo diferentes rutas, perfectamente señalizadas, que permiten al curioso visitante recorrer numerosos grupos de estos monumentos construidos hace unos 3.500 años a. de C.
