GARDENS OF THE RIGHT MARGEN OF THE GUADIANA
To approximately two kilometres of the city, the river Gévora it spills his waters to the Guadiana and just person in this place they got up concerning 1910, one series of facilities that were taking advantage of the current of the river to produce the electricity that needed the city and to put in service an old mill. For it there got up a dam known as The Fishing one, which since then regulates the level of the waters supporting an esquisito landscape that always formed a part of the signs of identity of the city. Still there last the remains of the mill, the factory of the light and of the channel of the Ayala, by which the water was returned to the Guadiana.
All this zone of the river is being rehabilitated, cosntruyéndose gangplanks and ways that will allow the use and enjoyment of the citizens of this grand park. From the bridge of the highway A5 up to the nearness of Caya's border, they are 16 kilometres of vegetation that in the sections initial and end supports the autochthonous species or of bank, whereas the urban zone in his most is being suitably repopulated.
