The current appearance is due to a reform that was carried out in the early 90s of the last century. It has a great variety and wealth exotic plant species. Located within the walls of the old city, separated from the fortification by the old round, today Avenida de Ramón y Cajal are. On the other side of the walls is known as children's Park, which occupies the pits situated between the bastions of San Vicente and San Jose.
