CHILDREN'S PARK
It is located outside the walls of the fortification of the 17TH century, separated from it by the old round, today Avenida de Ramón y Cajal. San Jose, San Vicente and Crescent defending curtain occupies because this park located trenches between the bastions.
This historical places were used to adapt them to the design of Antonio Juez in 1950, at the time responsible for the gardens of the city of Badajoz.
In 1954 on the bezel of the fortification stood in an auditorium that bears the name of Ricardo Carapeto Burgos, Mayor the Badajoz. This work left the top of the bezel of San Vicente, the only preserved fortification with the exception of the located in the Fort of San Cristóbal.
